EU Commission calls out startups for innovative solutions to fight Coronavirus, sets €164M as ‘bottom-up’


The coronavirus outbreak has been labelled a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) recently. If you are unaware, Pandemic is a term used to describe a disease that is spreading quickly in various countries at the same time.


The European Commission has called on startups to help in the fight against coronavirus by offering funding through the EIC Accelerator program. A total of €164m has been made available to startups developing innovative solutions to tackle the pandemic. The initiative seeks to fast-track the funding process and offer startups financial assistance within a month of submitting their proposals.
